Google Baba ki Jai!

After 4 years of blogging and 3 years of adsense-ing, I finally made enough for Google to send me a cheque. Yep! I reached the magical $100 mark and merited a payment from Google Adsense. I am so pleased with myself – it is the first earning I have made from my blogging.

Think of the Cheshire cat – multiply that grin 10 times. That’s me now!

Onwards and upwards!

  • Nice! But I can’t see any ads on your site so how does this work?

LOL Ro! I am “redecorating” so have taken them off. Will put them in new places. But right now, you can see the ones from Amazon na? One hopes they gave a cheque for me one of these days ;)

Hi Lavanya, You write really really well. You should write a book and make the big Sterlings. There are so many immigrant books and movies out there – Jhumpas’ Namesake, IOMaladies; brick lane etc.. But then how about, two friends (say you and Vanz or anyone fictitious..) who went to same high school.. same culture, now in different places, doing different things.. and sorta talk about two characters continents apart, struggles in a different country.. pretty much what you blog… things that you yearn for… blah blah.. and sort have two parallel stories.. the more different you try to show these characters, the more similar they are.. and then end mey.. kahani mey twist.. what twist… i don’t know.. You may come back and say..thu..there are a ton of books like that. :(
