Woe is me
I know I am meant to be studyin’ and all but I thought I needed a spot of sympathy. As of yesterday morning, I woke up to a gloriously stiff neck and an extremely painful muscle pull. If I tell you it took me more than 40 minutes to scoot out from bed, cos every time I moved a cm I was awarded with a spasm that took my breath away, you can guess what a neat start to my day it was.
Nearly gave myself a hernia trying to pick up my laptop – then figured out basic biology. Neck muscle is connected to relevant hand; hence raising the said limb any higher than a couple of inches pulls the affected muscles, which results in a fresh spasm.
This morning, after a disturbed night’s sleep when the teeniest movement caused a spasm that woke me up , I found the muscles stiffer than before. So am watching the world go by from a seriously weird angle. Am convinced my HOD thought my reason for not turning up to the lab and presentation today is as bogus as it comes. Sigh.
Ooh thanks a bunch to all you sweethearts for leaving me messages of luck. Thanks a ton. Need every bit of it if I have to get through this lot! Muchas gracias, amigos!

Must be a pregnant thing. I woke up with a stiff neck yesterday and its quite bad today. Hence did nt take Ashu to school today and shes in a phase now so she said “I want school”!! While I was aching to hear her say that for a long time, the timing is really something, dont ya think? The brats – out there to get us!!
Anyway, good luck with everything. Take care.
Sorry to hear about the painful morning…here’s a virtual massage for you and lots of good wishes coming your way….read that MIL impressing thing on the comments and just happy that everyone in your house liked it
Hugs

ouch, ouch! sorry abt the neck pull, sounds awful. many hugs to you!
and hey, you changed your template!! (when?) neat!
@Boo:
At least P has gone off to school so I am left by myself to nurse my sore neck in peace. I am hoping desperately it disappears soon as it is wrecking havoc with my study schedule!
Thanks
@Nandita:
Aww, thank you! Thank you muchly! That recipe of yours has become my Old Reliable now.
@Kodi’s mom:
Thank you
Changed the template couple of days back in an effort to learn a thing or two about style sheets, which is what I am trying to do for my presentation next week. So all in the name of work and not play, as the MM hinted!
Try a very gentle massage with a gel like “Volini”. It really helps.
Get well soon- it sounds very painful(:
stpo doing funny unmentionable-on-a-public-blog type things and you wont get a stiff errr. neck.
Leave your response!
